Was a back of length ball around off, taps it wide of Philippe down to third man, Kerr at third man was quick to the ball and Edwards was waiting for the throw at batting end, Gilkes wanted to come back for a 2nd run and the throw arrived at the batting end where Edwards had almost clipped the bails off with his fingers but it didn't actually come off, ball hit his hands and the bails eventually dropped down with Gilkes way out of the crease even after putting in a dive.
