A canny right-arm offie, Anisa Mohammed, has grown leaps and bounds to become the cornerstone of the West Indies bowling attack. The first West Indian bowler to reach 100 ODI wickets, Anisa is arguably the finest exponent of spin bowling in Women's cricket. Saqlain Mushtaq's recent influence has elevated Anisa's powers even further. The former Pakistan spinner worked on the latter's variations and control during his stint as a spin bowling consultant for West Indies.
In 2003, Anisa made her debut for West Indies versus Japan at the age of 15 in the ICC Qualifier tournament. She has snared 6 five wicket hauls in ODIs with the pick of them being her mesmerizing 7-14 versus Pakistan in the ICC World Cup Qualifier in 2011/12.
