Katherine Brunt started cricket at a very young age, she represented Yorkshire at under-15 and under-17 level. She has won two World Cups and one T20 World Cup with England and has been named England's Women's cricketer of the year four times.
A right-arm fast bowler, she represented Yorkshire in the age group sides before taking a break from the game at 17 due to her weight issues. She made her Test debut in 2004 and the following her played her first ODI and T20I matches.
Brunt has a knack of bringing her best game to the fore when it matters the most. She was instrumental in England's 2009 T20 World Cup winning campaign. Against New Zealand in the final, she ended with surreal figures of 3 for 6 and was named the Player of the Match.
