Kyle Verreynne is a young wicket-keeper batsman who plays for the Cape Cobras. At the age of 18, Verreynne made his first-class debut and since then he has played many crucial knocks for whichever team he has played for. Verreynne's average of 50-plus displays his potential and makes him a future prospect for Proteas.
Verreynne did his schooling in Wynberg Boys' High School (the school which has produced the likes of Jacques Kallis and Richard Levi). He took part in the 2016 Under-19 World Cup held in Bangladesh and ended up as South Africa's second highest run-getter, though his team didn't fare well in the competition.
