About Tshepo Moreki
Tshepo Moreki was born in Natal Province, Durban. The right-arm pacer graduated from Glenwood High School and made steady progress into the U-19 national team. Known for his ability to generate good pace, Moreki has a good outswinger as well as an accurate yorker.
He made his U-19 debut in the 2012-13 season - the same year he made his first class debut for Kwa-Zulu Natal. Moreki spent two years with the domestic side before being picked for the national academy squad. He toured Sri Lanka and had the best average in the four-day and one-day matches.
Moreki moved base from Dolphins to Cape Cobras after he was not given a contract by the former. He played all the domestic one-day games, including the final and was the fifth highest wicket-taker in the tournament. The consistent performances led to him being picked in South Africa's T20 franchise league, he was snapped by Benoni Zalmi.
